I’m stumped when folks ask me to boil things down to a list of three, to speak about a singular moment, to talk about where my life was changed as if it had just one story. As much as I know I have to embrace this skill, I understand why it requires development – it’s so unnatural.
I can weave it all together, hook one moment to another and make the telling make sense within a 30 second sentence, but really, life holds no fulcrums. The moments spin together in coalescing circles. New life arises from the chaos.
Do I have an audience for that?
